What We Review in a CCC Valuation

A total-loss offer can be affected by the vehicle information, market examples, and adjustments used in the report. We review the underlying details—not just the final number.

Comparable vehicles

Whether the selected vehicles reasonably match your year, trim, equipment, mileage, and Texas market.

Mileage

Whether your odometer reading is correct and the report’s mileage adjustments are applied consistently.

Options and equipment

Whether factory packages, upgraded equipment, and value-adding features are listed accurately.

Condition

Whether condition ratings or deductions are supported by the vehicle’s documented pre-loss condition.

Comparable adjustments

How the report adjusts each comparable for differences from your vehicle and whether those adjustments make sense.

Projected-sold adjustments

Whether projected-sold, typical-negotiation, or similar reductions are disclosed and applied consistently.

Learn how these inputs affect actual cash value, see examples of common CCC valuation-report errors, and understand how comparable-vehicle adjustments can change the reported value.

What to provide

Help Us Review the Right Details

Start the free review with as much of the following information as you have. If something is unavailable, you can still submit the intake and explain what you received from the insurer.

  • The complete insurance valuation report
  • The vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • Accurate mileage at the time of loss
  • Vehicle options, packages, and equipment
  • Policy or appraisal-clause information, when applicable

We review the valuation first and explain what we find. A free review does not obligate you to hire Texas Total Loss or begin appraisal.
